A small glow, powered by the light around you.
LumaViva is an indoor-light-powered motion night light developed by LumaHarvest. It gathers energy through an OPV panel, stores it in a rechargeable lithium-ion capacitor, and uses that stored energy for a warm glow after dark. It has no charging port and no disposable-battery compartment. It still needs enough daily light to replenish the energy it uses.

Will it work without sunlight?
Suitable indoor lamps and diffuse daytime room light can replenish energy; direct sunlight is not required. Output depends on light spectrum, brightness at the panel, angle and exposure time. Treat placement a little like caring for a plant: choose a bright indoor spot rather than a permanently dark corner.
Motion lighting, not a separate always-on mode
In a sufficiently dark environment, detected motion activates the light for 10 seconds. Continued detected movement keeps it on; being stationary is not the same as continued motion detection. Detection range is not yet published.
